Paul Louis Charles Claudel (1868-1955), French poet, essayist and playwright, was a diplomat and a member of the Académie française. He wrote the preface to a book of photographs of Vézelay, and the texts for “Le Monde de Vézelay” (1967), a book about Vézelay illustrated with photographs of the Basilica. He was the brother of the famous sculptor, Camille Claudel.

Description
Sumptuous 26m2 room highlighting painted wooden decorations, gilding and eighteenth-century tapestries and a high ceiling. Located on the 1st floor in the historic part of the hotel it is decorated with a chic Baroque furniture that blends to perfection with antique tiles.
