Viollet-le-Duc (1814-1879) was a French writer, archaeologist, teacher and architect who had a passionate interest in the Middle Ages. He was responsible for numerous restorations, including the Basilica of Sainte-Marie Madeleine in Vézelay, Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, the Château de Pierrefonds , and buildings such as the Church in Aillant-sur-Tholon and the Ramparts of Avignon. He is considered to be one of the precursors of the Art Nouveau movement.

Original room arranged in duplex of 24 m2 located on the 2nd floor of the hotel with high ceilings.
Access to a low-height mezzanine under the frame thanks to a small miller’s ladder (not suitable for the elderly or people with reduced mobility).
Decorated with designer furniture in a neo-classical decor.
High-end bedding 160 x 200 on the mezzanine. Additional bed of 90 x 200 in the lounge area.
